By doing so, we aim to enhance the overall game-shopping experience for our users.

In my design process, I focused on the needs of the users using the Design Thinking framework. This involved understanding user needs, generating multiple design solutions, and testing and refining the designs based on user feedback.

User Research: Summary

We started by conducting interviews with gamers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points when it comes to purchasing gaming equipment. We also conducted surveys to gather quantitative data on their shopping habits and preferences. Additionally, we analyzed existing user reviews and feedback on similar platforms to gain insights into common issues and areas of improvement. This combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods helped us gather valuable insights that informed our design decisions and ensured that the app and website meet the needs of gamers effectively.

I conducted a competitive analysis on both direct and indirect competitors of Eclipse. The aim was to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. I focused on finding a value proposition for Eclipse to gain a competitive edge.

I ensured that each screen of the app was well-suited to address user pain points by drafting iterations on paper before creating digital wireframes. I prioritized a quick and easy ordering process on the homepage to help users save time.

I focused on enhancing the item page by incorporating smaller preview images beneath the main product image, allowing for quick, efficient visual navigation and better decision-making.
